Dear friends of The Imp,

The Imp is a pub for the community. The team enjoy making you smile. I like to make sure they are having fun whilst keeping you lubricated, so please be friendly to them.

Come and borrow and swap books on the shelves above the piano. The quiz machine is available for anyone to use and just ask at the bar for board games and cards.

Enjoy being away from the hustle and Bristol bustle whilst sat outside the front of the pub soaking up the rays over a Stowford Press or Thachers Dry cider.

Don’t miss out on all the gossip about whats been going on here on our IMPort page where you can download any previous IMPorts you may have missed.

The Imp Quiz Nights!

Monday - Stoke Dave brings you 6 topical rounds. Pick the round that your area of expertise would cover best and play your joker for double points. Half time complimentary sandwiches will prepare you to Rrrrrearange an anagram and work out what year the quiz picks out this week and if your confident then HOLD YOUR HORSES because just when you think you’re out in front the 's#it or bust' round brings us to a photo finish. Finally working as a team you should logically work out the answer to the BOUNS question for the jackpot prize.

Thursday - Steve will give a more traditional style of 40 questions and a picture round but whilst your competing against television stars of pointless (not aired until September and we'll let you know when.) you also have to listen in carefully as repeating questions does not come without a black cross against your name. First time losers at least take a packet of crisps if Steve is feeling generous and the banter from the bar will keep the whole affair light hearted.

The Imp helps others!

Click the text to see more about the good causes we have helped.

Since the beginning o 2012 we have raised over £100 for RNLI lifeboats, £30 for the Poppy Appeal, £70 for Catchpoint, and £1,400 for Prostate Cancer UK. We have also been rasing money for St Peters Hospice.

Please look out for any charity events we run, they will be fun and we love people getting involved... The picture below was taken by the evening post at the end of Movember. Click this link to see what they said.
